= SHORT MANUAL TO MASJIN = 1. HOW TO START In the beginning, type your name to the text bar and press 'connect'. Max name length is 10 characters. Now you're in the lobby. Chat all you want, and select to join games or host stuff by using the buttons at the top-right corner. If you want a private game, press 'host/private', and then 'host a private game'. To join such game, go to the same menu, type the name of the game to the text bar and press 'join private'. There are two game modes to choose from: CONTROL POINT - Both teams try to hold a room in the middle of the level for a set time. CAPTURE THE FLAG - I probably don't need to explain. 2. STARTING When you join, you get to choose from 4 classes. Small info: CYBERMASON - is able to dig without any help by holding SHOOT (default C) while against a wall. Also uses the digger machine faster than anyone else. FIGHTER - has slightly more firepower in comparison to others. SCIENTIST - can heal teammates by standing next to them. Healing is automatic and can be researched to make it even stronger. A scientist CANNOT heal other scientists, and the healing power is lower if the scientist is in a vehicle. Scientist also regenerates HP slowly. NINJA - only class with a melee weapon. Ninjas jump higher than others and do good damage, but they're melee and weaker than others. There's a ninja-specific cloaking ability that can be researched. On level 1, the ninja cloak works like a normal cloak (walking makes you visible). On level 2, it's permanent and goes off only if: -The ninja takes damage -The ninja touches another character -There's a radar nearby. After you've chosen your class, you might have to select your team. Team doesn't matter in the slightest, unless you know that your friend is in the other or something. 3. PLAYING Here's a list of the controls you use: MOVE AND AIM - defaulted to arrow keys SHOOT - default C JUMP - default X USE/PICK UP/THROW - default Z RESPAWN - default R OPEN MENU - default ESC CHAT - default T LOOK AT CHATBOX - default E SAVE CHATLOG - default P You start in your base, in a specific 'safety zone', where enemies can't get and where your health replenishes automatically. In the base, there are 3 machines: FABRICATOR - here you create small items like bombs and such. MACHINERY - vehicles and turrets and so on. RESEARCH - expensive but good upgrades. Press USE (default Z) to use any of these machines. Same goes for entering/leaving vehicles. If you feel like changing class, press OPEN MENU (default ESC) and select 'change class'. Note that you mustn't hold anything nor mustn't you be in a vehicle while doing this. In the basement of the base, there's a 'digger' -vehicle, usable by anyone but most efficient in the hands of the cybermasons. hold SHOOT (default C) to dig walls and aim the drill with arrow keys. Holding JUMP (default X) makes you float for a while. You can see some weird blue formations underground. They're ORE, basically the equivalent of money. Drill all of it out! You can see your ore amount as the small teal number in the upper-right corner of the screen. There are many vehicles and items to use, so I'll list some here: BOMB - quite self-explanatory. Throwing them creates a nice explosion. Holding down and throwing them makes you drop them without detonating. Throwing a bomb from a plane or other vehicle makes it detonate instantly when in contact to earth. MINE - stand on a dirt tile and press USE (Z). Look out because these can kill you as well, like many other items. CLOAKING DEVICE - hold this and stay still to become invisible. Worse than the ninja cloak, but is useful for ambushes. RADAR - anti-cloaking device, basically. Reveals any invisible objects nearby. TURRET - Stand on any tile and press USE (Z) to create a turret. It shoots your enemies and is quite powerful! SPY ID - Holding this makes your name and colour change to that of the opposing team. Wonderful for ambushes! GRAVITY BOMB - Creates a field of gravity that pushes any players away with great force. Cheap and hilarious. All vehicles are 'locked' to their respective teams in the beginning. You see this as a lock icon over them. Standing next to an enemy-locked vehicle slowly unlocks it, after which it's free for all. Going inside a vehicle while holding a LOYALTY CHIP makes the vehicle lock to your team again. During the game, the team 'score' is shown as large numbers in the top-right corner, coloured according to the team. When either reaches 0, that team wins. I hope you enjoy playing the game!
